Our client is an elevated casual restaurant, cocktail and event space; featuring locally sourced ingredients within inspired seasonal dishes, grilled modern classics and, soon-to-be-famous brunch. Currently seeking a dynamic and ambitious leader to fill the role of Sous Chef; to lead, train, coach, motivate and empower the team to ensure they strive to adhere to goals and set standards within the department.   • Create schedules for kitchen staff to ensure optimum resource management and speed of service
  • Train new and existing kitchen staff on the preparation, arrangement and plating of dishes per the current menu
  • Ensure all staff members adhere to culinary standards and regulations
  • Respond to guests inquiries and concerns personally
  • Create menu ideas using seasonal and local ingredients
  • Track, record and replenish inventory as needed
  • Cross-train kitchen staff on multiple stations
  • Assist Executive chef with pricing menu items
  • Coordinate the execution of a la carte menu and Events functions


  • 6+ years’ culinary experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant
  • 3+ years culinary experience in catering and Events
  • Culinary school completion
  • Familiarity with menu costing procedures and proficiency with latest culinary software programs
  • Experience in artisanal style cooking with live fire as well as cooking with latest high tech kitchen equipment’s and ovens
  • Knowledge of best practices for training kitchen staff and implementing kitchen procedures
  • High level of creativity, consistency, flexibility and reliability
