Summary

This iconic Western Canadian quick service restaurant seeks a Restaurant Manager who will play a full part in making the restaurant the best it can possibly be. You will help lead an inclusive team that likes to have fun and provide quality food and service to guests. You will work side by side with the leadership team to promote the brand and protect its integrity, meet top and bottom-line goals, and develop your management and team.

Description

  • Maintaining a high level of guest and team satisfaction through leadership, training and development, and focus
  • Ensuring all standards and policies are followed, including as measured by Operations Reviews and 3rd Party assessments
  • Initiating, implementing, and following up on programs to support achievement and growth of top line sales
  • Initiating, implementing, and following up on programs to control costs and maximize direct store profit
  • Coordinating ongoing recruitment, training and development of management and hourly team
  • Creating a positive working environment and maintaining open communication between management and team members
  • Increasing the level of awareness of the brand in the community
  • Initiating and implementing Local Store Marketing programs

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years previous management experience in the restaurant industry – ideally QSR
  • Excellent comprehension of restaurant operational controls and financial statements
  • A proven record of training and developing a team
  • A demonstrated commitment to guest service
  • Excellent management skills (organized, able to set priorities, plan, make decisions)
  • Excellent leadership skills (demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate a team, great communicator, role model, delegator)
  • Demonstrated commitment to the values of integrity, involvement, and innovation
  • Has previous experience with or has initiated programs that support positive team member relations
  • Must complete all Learning Management System and on-the-job training
