Description

  • Operational Management:
    • Oversee daily operations, including reservations, guest services, bookings, and staff coordination
    • Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction by addressing inquiries and resolving concerns
    • Provide operational input and support as a trusted partner to the General Manager.
  • Sales & Marketing:
    • Develop and execute pricing and sales strategies to boost occupancy and expand market reach.
    • Plan and coordinate marketing activities with external agencies, promoting the location across multiple channels.
    • Manage online listings and partnerships with travel agencies.
  •  Guest Experience & Product Development:
    • Lead the development of new guest packages, outdoor experiences, and services.
    • Contribute to cabin renovations, ensuring quality and comfort standards are met.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Train, develop, and oversee staff to ensure a high standard of service.
    • Implement and uphold operational standards to enhance the guest experience.
  • Financial Management:
    • Oversee accounting functions, track expenses, and optimize financial performance.
    • Develop annual budgets and forecasts, monitoring progress toward financial goals.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of experience as a hotel or resort General Manager.
  • Knowledge of and experience in the fishing and hunting tourism industry is beneficial.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work hands-on and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for the outdoors and wilderness.
