This international housewares distributor/supplier has been a leading provider of kitchenware products across North America. In collaboration with the Purchasing and Inventory Manager, the Replenishment Analyst is responsible for the integrity of their inventory & demand system and companywide communications regarding changes to the system. This opportunity is a junior to mid-level role that requires the ability to balance solid demand planning and inventory levels, as well. This is a well-managed organization with a collaborative work environment where everyone pitches in to achieve organizational success. This is an on-site role with salary in the $55-65K range,

  • Assist in the development of demand and supply planning tools and processes to facilitate a smooth and efficient monthly S&OP cycle
  • Identify customer forecast gaps and follow up with Account Managers as necessary to resolve discrepancies
  • Act as liaison between Sales, Marketing, and Procurement to support planning for key product categories
  • Lead meetings as required with sales team to drive improved business planning by proactively seeking information and performing analyses that lead to better, more accurate mid- to long-term forecasts
  • Use sales reviews to ensure understanding of planned promotional events & expected volume, and provide historical and forecast information to stakeholders to ensure accurate production planning, calling out gaps to future plans
  • Lead allocations and forecasting by customer, by item
  • Complete all item creations and maintenance
  • Review sales plan changes and bring forward recommendations to manager on how to proceed for POs (in-progress or new)
  • Conduct yearly cycle counting of inventory
  • Review production reporting to ensure accuracy into accounting system
  • Support team to ensure required customer service levels are met while maintaining appropriate inventory levels and monitoring E/O inventory
  • Proactively identify, co-ordinate and communicate best course of action to pending material shortages/overages to protect service levels while minimizing obsolescence
  • Prepare and execute purchase orders – monitoring delivery performance from vendor dispatch through to warehouse receipt.
  • Assist in any other areas as required as direct by Manager


  • College or university education in business or accounting
  • 1+ year’s work experience in demand planning
  • Experience managing inventory vs forecasting
  • Strong computer knowledge, with emphasis on excel and warehouse management tools
  • Solid attention to detail skills
  • Sound communication skills, including both verbal and written
  • Ability to identify potential issues and implement solution
