They seek, a Licensed Optician who will oversee store activities and personnel in order drive a successful optical retail operation, constantly meeting revenue targets and achieving improvement objectives.
Description
- Manage with integrity in a way that promotes our culture, value and vision
- Manage day to day store operation to ensure the business is set up for sustainable financial growth, while delivering outstanding customer service
- Lead, mentor and manage all store staff
- Set daily goals for the work group and coach to reach targets
- Delegate tasks and ensuring all store email communication is read by al lstaff
- Implement and enforce new policies and procedures set in place by the company
- Ensure your store is up to date with aged receivables and undelivered orders
- Ensure that all daily closings and bank deposits are done correctly on a daily basis
- Continually identifying opportunities for improvement and areas of concern
- Implement best practices to ensure the store operates in the most efficient and effective manner
- Lead scheduled inventory counts throughout the year at the store
- Organization of in-store events to amplify the clinic, store, and brand awareness
- Ensure that frame displays are full at all times and that product is merchandised to provide our customers with the most amazing experience and to maximize both AOV and conversion
- Bring forward new ideas, initiatives, and improvements and act as the voice of your store in retail leadership meetings
- Solve problems with an entrepreneurial mindset, by taking initiative, asking questions, and creating winning results through a combination of proactive and analytic behavior
- Create the store’s staffing schedule on a monthly basis and send to your direct report
- Submit all staff’s hours for payroll in an accurate and timely manner consistently
- Develop talent for your store orienting, and training all team members
- Handle customer escalations, assess and address customer complaints, and act as a liaison to resolve customer concerns
- Be knowledgeable of lens and frame products in order to educate and better assist our customers
- Communicate with the Director of Operations on a regular basis to inform and update on the progress of your store operation
Requirements
- You have genuine desire to make a difference in people’s lives
- A valid Dispensing Optician license to practice in the province for which you are applying is a requirement
- Act as an ambassador by professionally representing the brand.
- Have optical and/or strong customer service experience
- Have great attitude towards customer service
- Have excellent computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Able to execute on timelines and expectations autonomously
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and mentor team members in a fast paced environment
- Possess the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Committed to driving sales and lead the team to achieve individual and store targets
- Have great organization and planning skills, and an ability to manage multiple situations simultaneously
- Possess strong problem-solving skills, with an ability to plan and prioritize
- Have interest in style and fashion
- Have a flexible schedule with the ability to work evening, weekends and some holidays
