They are committed to providing guests with an exceptional experience, and are looking for a dynamic and experienced Director of Food and Beverage to lead their culinary team. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the food and beverage operations in all outlets (grab and go, Casual and Fine Dining), ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction. You will lead a team of talented professionals in creating memorable dining experiences while maintaining financial and operational excellence. Salary $100-115K plus bonus.


  • Leadership: Provide strong leadership and mentorship to the food and beverage team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

  • Menu Development: Collaborate with the Executive Chef and culinary team to develop creative and seasonally inspired menus that showcase local and sustainable ingredients.

  • Quality and Service: Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service throughout all dining outlets, including restaurants, bars, room service, and catering.

  • Financial Management: Develop and manage budgets, control costs, and maximize revenue while ensuring profitability and cost-effectiveness.

  • Guest Satisfaction: Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction by actively engaging with guests, addressing concerns, and continuously improving the dining experience.

  • Vendor Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure the availability of high-quality ingredients and products.

  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and food safety regulations, as well as resort policies and procedures.

  • Team Development: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing food and beverage team, fostering career growth and professional development.


  • Proven experience as a Director of Food and Beverage or a similar role in a resort or upscale hotel.

  • Strong culinary background and a passion for food and beverage innovation.

  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent financial acumen and budget management experience.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Knowledge of local food and beverage trends and suppliers in British Columbia is a plus.

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field is preferred.
