They seek a Restaurant General Manager (RGM) in their Toronto location. In this role, you will manage the daily operations of a single restaurant (15-25 employees), ensuring guest satisfaction and desired restaurant outcomes (i.e., increased sales, profitability, and employee retention).
Description
- Directs efficient and accurate preparation and sale of products to maximize customer satisfaction.
- Motivates and supports team members to provide an exceptional customer experience.
- Support maintenance of restaurants that are noticeably cleaner than others.
- Provide coaching and feedback to the restaurant team.
- Ensure that preventive maintenance of restaurant facility and equipment is completed by company standards.
- Implement marketing strategies and follow cash control/security procedures.
- Managing inventory and labour and applying financial reporting analysis to enhance restaurant results.
- Ensures compliance with government regulations, policies, employment laws, food safety, security, and operations.
- Handles recruiting, selecting, hiring, and retaining effective team talent.
- Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Prompt and regular attendance for assigned shifts, meetings, and training.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 2 years of college preferred.
- 1-2 years of restaurant management experience.
- Complete all internal certification programs.
- Able to travel to USA
- Demonstrates English language proficiency that enables speech expression clarity and proficient reading and verbal comprehension.
