As the Store Manager your role will be vital in leading a team to create an exciting, vibrant and operationally focused environment for all stakeholders from team members to your valued customers!  This job is not stuffy – it really is all about fun! This role is to ultimately motivate, mentor and support your customer service teams with a primary goal of creating memorable customer experiences, collectively attaining sales, profit and culture targets within the store.

Experience with ordering, stocktaking and inventory systems and general retail operations within a big box environment exceeding 50 plus team members is required. We are seeking candidates with strong operational, sales management, inventory management and organizational skills in a general merchandise big box retailing settings.  If you have a good sense of humour and like customers of all ages, please apply!

Empowers team to provide a positive, omni-easy Customer experience 
Manages the Customer Engagement performance results 
Ensures all customer service issues and requests are dealt with effectively and efficiently 
Drives accountability of team to meet/exceed Company standards for Customer Service and Customer Engagement 
Drive for Results 
Manages the financial performance of the business unit including sales, profitability, and key metrics through proper and ethical in-store operations and is responsible for controlling inventory 
Analyzes key financial metrics and observable behaviours to identify, maximizing sales and margin opportunities 
Prepares and presents an annual business plan for the Store that supports Company sales objectives, meets budget requirements and contributes to building business 
People Development 
Develops skills and competence of Store Management team through ongoing coaching and feedback 
Actively develops and maintains the Talent Management process using the Company succession planning guidelines, involving the Store and Regional management teams. 
Responsible for ensuring execution of Omnichannel functions (e.g. AOS, ISPU, SFS, Tablet Assisted Sales) in an efficient and timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction 
Accountable for in-Store execution and preparedness of Company standards 
Ensures compliance to policies and procedures 
Supports and guides Management team in establishing Store procedures 
Ensures compliance to initiatives, including: Marketing, Visual, Merchandising and Store Planning Strategies and Standards 


  • You possess previous retail management experience, large format big box management
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams to achieve results 
  • Strong organization skills and ability to manage multiple priorities 
  • Financial acumen to manage store operations, labour planning and expense management
