This award-winning company is expanding and is breaking ground on new space, which will include a permaculture garden, market, event space, and local farm to table vendors. Currently seeking an experienced operator to fill the role of General Manager, Venues & Events; leading corporate, private and destination events. The General Manager, Venues & Events will be an integral part of the company growth decision-making – this is a once in a lifetime creative, lifestyle and working experience.

  • Responsible for all aspects for private events. Booking, contracting, coordination of event details.
  • Meeting with potential clients to plan events and consult on specific requirements.
  • Coordinate staffing needs, and needs from various suppliers.
  • Be present at required events as a primary contact for the client, as well as lead-up meetings and post-event meetings.
  • Coordinate estimates, final invoices and payments with clients.
  • Delivery of catering for clients.
  • Travel to trade-shows and industry events.


  • A minimum of 2 years ’experience in an events role
  • Experience in event selling and planning
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills
  • Experience in a high volume office
  • Passionate about people and creating exceptional customer experiences
  • A passion for selling
  • An incredible eye for detail
  • An exceptional ability to multi-task, stay organized, and self-manage tight deadlines and high volume
  • The ability to think strategically, creatively, and resourcefully
